Afternoon fellow gamers,

Just before our refight of the Battle of Quinto got underway I emptied out the Spanish Civil War "to do" box adding some Cavalry, an MC 36 Hispano Suiza and a Train Station to the collection.

The Empress Miniatures Spanish Cav are great figures and look rather good en masse. Similar praise for the Minairons Armoured Car and the Sarissa Precision buildings.

With the "to do" box empty for SCW the credit card finger is getting itchy. But what next ?

That armored car is so Art Deco I am not sure if it is a war machine or a design statement!

They look excellent. Where's the train though? Couldn't the fascists get it to turn up on time? With this and the Turks we seem to have some strange gaming connection. I do love Empress' minis. I picked up their Russian commanders and some more of their drivers at Vapnartak the other week, I have a long term plan to do SCW in 28mm (I already do it in 15mm). So far I only have a couple of writers minis.

I think the trains late because the Communists and Anarchists are just about to take control of the timetable

We must be trailblazers in our gaming choices.
