I threw missle launchers into guardsmen to help target guardsmen
HW teams with
d6 shot rockets but im not sure if this is the best use of points. I was considering running 20 guardsmen, dropping the
hw teams, the conpany commander, and 2-3 wolf guard for something like psykers or assasins. I do like the extra command points the company commander/guard give me as well as the extra bubble wrap and combat effectivness. Anyways any ideas what could be done to the list or issues it might run into? My main concern
atm is psykers ( no dtw but bubblewrap helps) and lots of
AT spam in the form of infantry (little mid to long range anti infantry if out of range of storm bilters). All criticism/comments/etc appreciated, thanks!
I think that the 2 identical
wl are a waste if points. A
wl with kraken sword and plasma pistol/combi plasma has better damage output for less points. Also they can add more shots to the firing line. You can also consider bjorn for an
hq for extra
cp and re rolls 1s bubble and fits your theme. Another one to consider is arjac works well with your
wg and buff doesn't clash with the
wl/bjorn.
For guard I'm using
dkok as they ignore losses at shooting for moral and also great in melee. Grand strategist plus the Aquila for
cp farming and re rolls also good but you miss out on
hws hidden within infantry squads. If you can fit in another guard
hq then its a battalion, a commissar for codex guard to help them stay put or a field officer (much cheaper and an extra order) for
dkok
