What do you all think of using taking this as a competitive list to NOVA rules tournaments (so there are end of game primaries and secondaries as well as progressive one, each player picks the kind they want to use for themself at the start of each round)?

I'm worried about running into a psyker heavy army, but I could always just try and kill the psyker before too much damage is dealt.

I REALLY like this combo. I would consider looking at combining one or two of the Defensor banners with some advancing Vanguard. They seem to compliment each other rather well, and adding that survivability to an already good troop choice seems decent (especially when combined with Stygies -1 to hit, Graia’s? FNP, or Metallica’s fast advance).

A Defensor banner would be a good match for them, you're right. The question is; where do we make cuts to budget it? Keeping the -1 on the Bikes is important to survive the first two rounds and plasma/manticore damage. The tank can generally sit around and enjoy the buff for its whole life too since his in is 60" and he mostly moves just to get LoS.

I really like the Custodes + AdMech, they compliment each other nicely. While I haven't gotten that far into Custodes I also added in a Supreme command detachment of IG to get the CP battery Warlord which nets me a good amount of CP back for re-rolls on saves for the Shield Captains and so on.

Omnispex and Arc Rifles are a waste of points. If you want to do a lot of fighting with infantry, bring 6 units of Blandguard (Vanguard with nothing but Carbines).

With 5 Kastelan Robots, you need to do Mars.

5 Dragoons is awkward; it's hard to get a third row to pile in in tight spaces. I would bring 4.
