Tfw when your favorite game is getting watered down to become a childrens game

most of the original people from GW have left or been forced out. They only thing stopping GW from going full Disney
is a ton of politically incorrect lore written by a previous team.

Great things GW wants gone

>Slaanesh and his orgies

>Tiny models that are hard for kids to paint (hence primaris)

>Male space marines

>Gritty dark 41st millennia(pics related)

Tbh I think Gw realizes this and his forcing their older fan base into 30k. Hence the high prices higher model detail and less fantastical lore.

Smash Gw into a million peices and scatter it to the wind.

I am not so sure they are making it a kids game so much as making it more appealing to kids, they want younger and newer customers, most of us old goats have our armies and are just that way.

Probably work

No, seriously, tell us how you really feel.

When did GW say that they want Slaanesh gone? I haven't heard anything about that.

I honestly think the restartes look better than regular marines. Regular marines are pretty squatty. I have some helmetless guardsmen that are standing upright that are as tall as marines with helmets on. That kind of stuff bugs me. Having that been said, I really don't think being 1/8" taller means that primaris marines are "easier to paint". From the ones I've seen, the minis have more little details on them than the old ones do.

When did GW say that they were getting rid of space marines being all-male? I haven't heard anything about that.

What of your picture indicates any more of a deviation from "Gritty dark 41st millennia" than any Ultramarine picture from Codex: Ultramarine that's existed for the last 10+ years? You could have a valid argument here, but you're choosing already the second least grimdark thing in 40k and somehow comparing it to... itself? I do not understand.

Los Angeles

Guys, OP has 1 post and is regurgitating some common flame issues (femarines, "40k is for kids!", "Why GW hate Slanneshi boobies?").

Pretty sure this is a troll post. Don't feed. Move along. Move along!

She Who Thirsts really needs a rework, the whole bewbs and whips thing is the worst realized version of any of the 4 powers

>When did GW say that they want Slaanesh gone? I haven't heard anything about that.

lol what????? have you been reading recent lore. They got rid of slaanesh in fantasy lore for the same reason in the dumbest way possible. The forced plot was very palatable. Ynnead was added for the specific purpose of killing slannesh.

>I honestly think the restartes look better than regular marines. Regular marines are pretty squatty. I have some helmetless guardsmen that are standing upright that are as tall as marines with helmets on.

Yeah buuuuuut the lore is insane. How could crawl improve on the GOD emperors great work. Again seems forced. And they're easier to paint because they're larger

>When did GW say that they were getting rid of space marines being all-male? I haven't heard anything about that.

Yeah a bunch of writers from black library (same EXACT company) were mournful about the lack of representation in 40k. They responded to feminist 40k the facebook group who protest quite often the lack of female space marines

>What of your picture indicates any more of a deviation from "Gritty dark 41st millennia"

It's becoming high fantasy is my point. Grit is supposed to imply harsh realism m8

I don't think this thread will lead anywhere worth going, so...
