Hello everyone,

As the title suggests I'm starting up a Word Bearers army, I quite liked 7th ed so I'm quite excited. I love the look of my legion unique units I'm just wondering what's worth the cash and points! I've heard a few things about HH games and I'd like to ask other players about the stuff I've heard about the Word Bearers. Sorry if I am asking questions that have already been answered! Thanks in advance!

Terminators can't deepstrike?
Jump Unit's (Assualt Marines, Ashen Circle etc) can't deepstrike?
Daemon's can't deepstrike?
Can daemon characters only join daemon squads?

Terminators don't get deepstrike by default.

Jump pack units come with deep strike .

Codex daemon characters can only join cidex daemon units and vice versa . They can all deepstrike

Summoned daemons.. Not clear looks like a summoned Herald could join a traitor unit. Probably not intentional

Hmm summoned heralds don't even have independent character

Welcome to the 30K party, its a pretty cool scene. People who play are super into it and you get break banter.

Unsure on how knowledgeable you are with 30k, but I'm going to assume you know the main points. Terminators can deepstrike, IF you apply certain legion rite of wars on them.

Welcome the the Heresy! I can't recommend picking up the Red Rules Books enough for the Horus Heresy/30K. Enough rules changed that it plays a bit differently from 40K 7th.

Each Legion has Legion Specific rules, Rites of War, and a couple special units. The Force Organization and Detachments are very different as well.
