Me and a couple friends are going to be attending a few ITC GT's/Majors this year, and we're curious how we get enrolled into it. I can't find anything providing info on that, on Frontlines webpage. Can anyone help?

It's done automatically by the tournament organisers when they make it an ITC valid event.

No action required on your part.

In fact I discovered I had ITC points completely by accident.

More specifically, when you go to an event that is ITC you will be asked for your name and email address. The email address is basically your login/registration into ITC. If you want to participate in ITC you have to provide an email.

If the event uses Best Coast Pairings (BCP) when you sign in or buy your ticket through BCP you will give your email and put in your info for the first time. From then on that email will auto populate the names field and club anytime you go to a BCP event in the future. At the end of the event results are uploaded to BCP and now your points are tracked for the future.

Some events don't use BCP, those will still need your email.

Yeah, just submit the same email every time at an ITC event and you are good to go!

Download the player app, too, it makes things so much easier. You can score your games on your phone at the events.

Does the rankings on Frontlines website automatically update when new info is plugged in?

Friend of mine should have points that would put him in 4th place for his faction, but he's not even showing up on the web page. Is that a failure of the TO?

Yeah TOs have to submit the score before it shows up. If they use BCP it's pretty easy there's a menu option once all scores are in for final round. If they did it manually it has a bit more work from both TO and BCP to get it in. If TO forgot to get the ITC number/key before event that can also cause a delay (especially around Adepticon).

With the app it updates extremely quickly. If they manually submit there is a delay.

And, the Android BCP TO app is now out and available, so that will help immensely for those TOs that do not have an iPhone.

I've also got a small question. I hosted a small itc tournament yesterday using the Best Coast app. Do I need to do anything special to submit the scores? About how long until the results show up on the ITC rankings page?

You need to apply for a token (can be found in the token section of the BCP TO app.) and then submit your scores, it will ask for your token code. Input it, submit and it will update to the rankings. I've found its almost instantaneous.

I'm on the Android app, which doesn't have that yet. I ended up asking the dudes who run BCP, and they told me to email it to FLG. Haven't seen it posted yet but it will probably take a while.
