Jealous that Horus is Warmaster

So I've been watching some regional streams this weekend and it seems like the Ghost/Fenn & Rey/Lowhhrick archetypes seem to be pretty prevalent... and tough.

But one thing they seem to have in common is a potential weakness to crits... Which got me wondering if an imperial commander might have some success thinking outside the box. So I came up with a couple of imperial list ideas.

#1: 99 points

“Quickdraw” (40)
Special Forces TIE (29), Expertise (4), Fire-Control System (2), Targeting Synchronizer (3), Special Ops Training (0), Lightweight Frame (2)

Maarek Stele (33)
TIE Defender (35), A Score to Settle (0), TIE/x7 (-2)

“Omega Leader” (26)
TIE/fo Fighter (21), Comm Relay (3), Juke (2)

The idea here is to have Maarek sponge tks from quickdraw while fully tokened up for defense (a less good Vessery) but with score to settle to trigger his ability & push crits (aside, what happens if you run out of damage cards?)

Going a slightly different direction is #2 imperial points fortresses:

Major Vynder (43)
Alpha-class Star Wing (26), Push the Limit (3), OS-1 Arsenal Loadout (2), Advanced Proton Torpedoes (6), Harpoon Missiles (4), Advanced SLAM (2)

Kylo Ren (47)
TIE Silencer (35), First Order Vanguard (2), Push the Limit (3), Advanced Sensors (3), Advanced Optics (2), Autothrusters (2)

A ridiculous 10 point bid means that if you can keep 1 ship alive you have more than 50 points for victory/ mov and the "battle axe" Vynder can put out a lot of damage and is surprisingly mobile (the bigger brother of Hatchet man Vynder from the Birmingham Barons podcast)

#3 is probably my most conventional idea but also still a work in progress:

Major Vynder (38)
Alpha-class Star Wing (26), Veteran Instincts (1), XG-1 Assault Configuration (1), Harpoon Missiles (4), Advanced SLAM (2), Flechette Cannon (2), Linked Battery (2)

Colonel Vessery (34)
TIE Defender (35), Veteran Instincts (1), TIE/x7 (-2)

“Omega Leader” (26)
TIE/fo Fighter (21), Comm Relay (3), Juke (2)

Vynder's build is aimed at having a stress mechanic to turn off expertise on rey/wookies (with linked so he can hold a TL for Vessery if needed). Vi to keep Vessery at Miranda ps /avoiding ps kills. And I did see OL basically solo a nym/Miranda list (after 3 support ships were killed)...

Any thoughts, comments or criticism is most welcome
