So I am about to put together a stormsurge I have had sitting in a box for awhile now. I have some conversion bits for arms and a hatch and stuff. But I also cannot stand the squatting pose this thing has.

I have seen conversions all over the place with people re-positioning the legs to be standing. Is there any guides anywhere for doing this? Is it just incredibly easy and I am stressing about nothing? What kind of work load do I have in front of me on these legs?

These are my opinions. This is how I feel. Others may feel differently. This needs to be stated for some reason.

The legs are fully posable, you just snip off the little alignment tabs to get the full range of motion in the joints. Standing or walking poses are no problem.

This is not like your Tyranids where the legs usually have to be hacked to bits to get a different pose, all of the joints are functional. The ghostkeel and riptide are like that as well.
