Hey Guys, I never thought I'd have to make a post like this. My Imperial Guard miniatures were recently removed from my local gaming club. I really hope it was a misunderstanding, I just want them back! If you see these at your local club or on ebay, please let me know!

I play in the New York area. I don't think people in the Wh40k community are the type to steal from each other, I would have happily lent them out if someone needed them.

It took me ten years of sacrificed time to collect and paint these. I remember the long nights, the missed social commitments, the stiff back and shoulders. I remember the happiness I had losing myself and just painting them, forgetting whatever anxiety I might have been going through at the time.

I just want them back, I have so many memories of painting them. Hug your minis, guys.

Those were some nice looking Vostroyans. Good luck tracking them down. It seems to have gone from something unheard of, to seeing occasional posts these days about stolen armies :(

Here's hoping you get them back. There's not that many players in the Northeast, comparatively speaking. Forwarding this thread to as many people I know in the hopes someone will see them and speak up.

Really sorry to hear about that. Being removed from your local club comes across as the saddest part about it - it leads to the impression that a fellow gamer has deliberately stolen them. That seems like a betrayal of a fellow hobbyist, compared with a non-gamer thief stealing a model case during a burglary and not having a clue what they've nicked.

Either way, devastating. I hope they turn up.

Someone posted a link with this message in the discord group for the capital region. So if it shows up upstate hopefully someone will post. But the message is out there.

Don't look for sense in these situations. Keep an eye out and spread the word, something is bound to happen.

I can't see someone showing up to play an army like that without someone asking questions, it's just too good looking.
