I've seen a guy in the 40k oldhammer group advertising modern versions he sculpted himself. Let me see if I can find a link...

There's definitely some Rogue Trader models that look like those. Back in the day, they had several different looks to the Terminators, and models for most of them. They're pretty darn rare now, they go on eBay for a good chunk.

I’m not sure if those are Mk 1 terminators. Those are suits crafted by Vulkan for use in Isstvan. The picture is from the Shattered Legions book and I’m pretty sure you can find some more reference to them there.

a guy recently offered up a casting from a DIY sculpt, he was quickly identified as a con man and the paypal he'd set up was dismantled, but not before catching a fair few people out.

Huh interesting, I thought that Mk1 was like Saturnine armor or something? I think it's an interesting concept that could get revisited.

I'm a big fan of that 'mark' of Terminator armor, and was excited to get some updated versions - even at FW Pricing.
You can get the old Rogue Trader versions:
but they don't 'feel' big enough when mixed in with today's 30K/ 40K.

Yes?
Legio Custodes Telemon Heavy Dreadnought
FW seems to be calling it a 'Heavy Dreadnought' and not an upsized/upgunned Contemptor, not that the particular wording/classification matters!
Scale-wise, it is the biggest of the bunch, by a wide margin:
Still like to see this style of Terminator though.

Scaled down to terminator level that would be awesome. The artwork I posted makes it look like the basic armament would be maybe a top Mounted bolted, and a head held rotor-cannon with powerfist. Think that would be awesome, maybe with options to replace the rotor cannon with some heavier options, and even replace the Bolter with something of similar size? Maybe a flamer? Juicy! Wish they would make it!,

I think they will, eventually.
Wonder which of the remaining Legions to be released will get them first?
