I have to confess although I love Warhammer 40k and everything about it I might need some help - I simply cannot choose an army to "main" as in I don't have an army that I like. My whole collection revolves around massive stacks of books and codexes with a mish-mash of figurines - from old Orks, through AdMech, some Space Marines, Tau and lately Genestealer Cult. I simply cannot decide what army to play and I'm not OK with it.
Lately i feel, hmm... burned out? I simply scroll through Games Workshop page and nothing hits me as fun anymore. Every model I like is from range of different armies and I fear that there is simply nothing that I would like to play on regular basis... Anyone felt like this? How did you managed through it?

It sounds like... you don't actually like Warhammer.
Maybe try another game with different models?
Not being horrible, just... it's like someone saying "which car should I buy? Please note I don't like any cars, or driving."

First of all I would say stop stressing yourself out, reading the background along with collecting and painting your favourite models is what 40K is all about. You don't need to feel pressured or obliged to own a massive army or to be playing every week. Best way to combat burn out is to just to put it away and go do something different, try taking up Kayaking for the summer and daydream about escaping to the Tatras at the weekends or how to navigate that particularly rough section of rapids rather than how to save the Emperors soul!

For that problem, i hope that the game "killteam" will have some succes because with this game you only need a few figurines to play

Like the others said, if you're feeling burnt out, take a vacation from it. Try other games, or catch up on TV or video games. Spend time with the wife and kids.

Killteam
Shadow War Armageddon
If you would like to give AoS a try, there's AoS Skirmish
Also, If you would rather see what army you enjoy playing best, maybe try an escalation league or a few of them.
And, if your friends don't mind you borrowing their models, maybe you could play a few small (750 point) games.
Just my $0.02
Thanks
