Check out some of the colors by the Army Painter. There might be something comparable.

Not that weird - who knows when your FLGS ordered it.

Or...it really isn't discontinued?

You might have to get yourself an airbrush and a bunch of Mournfang Brown.

Looks like there were a bunch of questions like this in October and December last year so that might suggest when GW ran out of stock in their warehouses?

It's certainly no longer around on any of the webstores I;ve looked at

I will need a new air compressor but it is an option, thanks.

Quite possibly worth checking your local GW Stores?

The Citadel Colour spray cans are "splash releases". A limited amount are made, and once they're gone, they're gone.
The popular ones, the ones that sell fast and well, get added back to the range as permanent.

Even Mephiston Red and The Fang disappeared for a while once the initial splash was sold out.

As MDG says, check your local GW- they should be able to check other stores that have any stock, and have it transferred to your local store.

It's been stopped a good few months now, if your local GW is like mine it'll be long gone. They only seem to ever carry a couple of each colour.

I had a similar trauma with Rhinox Hide spray.

Best colour to first coat rusty vehicles in!

Asked around everywhere for someone who had one. Eventually found out I had one in my parents attic. Not sure if it will work cos it might be like a decade old.

Much shaking required, I suspect!

Rhinox Hide (as a color) only dates back to 2012 when GW last redid their paint line.

Wait.

GW Emailed back with an honest answer in a reasonable period of time?
Did you email them about the missing terminator Captain too?
Maybe also about Plastic Sisters?

Sadly GW does this all the time. Their spray cans are always limited edition with exception to the black and white primers. The current line has stuck around longer than the previous ones, but sadly it too will eventually disappear completely.

As I said above; spray cans are 'splash' release. An initial amount it made, and when it runs out it goes. But those colours that sell well are returned as 'range' items.

They said with the re-release of the fang and some other new sprays that those specific ones were here to stay (sometime last year)

Id suggest sending them a polite e-mail and asking about it

I'm not going to re-read the lunacy that is the last few pages of this thread, but I'd be very surprised if anyone actually said that. Even that one guy banging on about how relatively difficult it might be for an Inquisitor to acquire power armour, I don't think even that guy said that.

Huh good to know. Makes easy decision to avoid even THINKING about using those. Why use one I can't be quaranteed to be able to use later to expand the army...Shudder.

I've purchased 10-15 cans of AP Sprays, a few of them were immediately binned. Their bone/khaki and light grey were of a good quality. All of the black/browns were bad.

How strange. I've been using AP exclusively since, gosh, 2006 or so, and have never had a bad can. I've gone through at least forty cans.
Do you follow the instructions? They are quite different than normal spray paints.

Conversely, I have found every can of Citadel spray paint I've ever used since the mid 90's to be atrocious. Every time they change manufacturer, I try 'em again, and am always disappointed.

If you cant get the paint out of the spraycan when its new then it is likely a problem with the can.
