I'm new to AOS.

If I were to play Khorne, which book is the most current? The Bloodbound or Blades? Because everything in Bloodbound, I see in Blades, but some stats are different.

Which books would I need?

Blades of Khorne is the new book. Bloodbound came out when AoS first launched and was "just" the Mortal stuff.

They don't have a Daemons of Chaos book for AoS. Daemons are in the "X of <Insert God Here>" books with everything else.

This entire 8th edition for both fantasy and 40k has been annoying the hell outta me. It seems these editions are the most confusing editions ever for trying to gather all the right, current, rules for armies.

Thank you!

So basically what happened is that when Bloodbound and Stormcast Eternals both came out at the start of AoS, they were going to have multiple books. We got Bloodbound for the mortal side of things, Stormcast and the Extremis(Dragon rider stuff) for that side of things.

After they changed the formats based on player feedback, they rebound everything into one book and then released that.

40k isn't too hard though. Book, Chapter Approved if it was pre-CA. Index is 100% optional at this juncture unless you don't have a book yet or you have something you absolutely 100% can't live without fielding that is Index Only.

8th edition fantasy went from 2010-2015. This is more "9th edition" except that ... well... it got turned iinto version 1.0.
