Hi! With the new Armigers coming out I was thinking about using a super heavy detachment with three of them. While they are expensive, 670 points for 3 cp and basically 3 pimped dreadnaughts is not unreasonable. Combining them with say a guard battalion you ought to have quite a nice screen and anti tank (or gunline when the shooter baby knights come out), leaving you about 1k points to buy whatever for supported by 9 cp, 10 if you get a vanguard or such. What do you think, 3 baby knights in soup or keep em for narrative games?

A lot is going to depend on the rules and stratagems Knights gain in their codex. Seeing what Armigers are in the fluff I wouldn't be surprised if they get bonuses when accompanied by a big one (and/ or vice versa).

I don't doubt that the Knight codex will come with a troop option to help out with CP/bubblewrap internally inside the codex. It could be something as simple as engineering crews that provide aura bonuses for knights near them (kind of a flip reverse to the HQs giving the aura).
