I was recently reading up on the Primarchs and their legions and it got me to thinking what the best combination of any two Space Marine Legions would be.

Personally I think that an combo of Ultramarines and Alpha Legion would be pretty nuts.

What do you guys think?

Dark Angels and Space Wolves. They are not the best combination by the rules but fluffwise they are always good for a laugh.

yeah the space wolves and DA shou;d have a special rule whenm they fight together on a 1 23 4 or 5 they figh each other instead, on a 6 they fight the enemy and on the last turn fight each other

if we are talking any including pre-heresy- then it would have to be alpha legion and worldeaters
why?
well the worldeaters would go and just rip most things to shreds in their crazed- psycho way, and the alpha legion would then be able to pick up the (probably many) pieces afterwards using their fluid battle plans and organisation

Worldeaters and DA. The DA could take advance firing positions to develop good firing paths. Once the enemy is fixed they could uncage (literally) the world eaters to finish the job.

Iron warriors and white scars. The IW sit and shoot, while the white scars... go fast.
