I know amongst fans in the real world, we assume that AdMech would goes gaga over Necrons and Necron Technology, just in the same way certain folks overemphasize the whole "Is the Emperor the Omnissiah" schtick.

But I was wondering if we had any in-game quotable Fluff or Fiction about the AdMech's take on the Necrons? Is all just dreaded Silica Animus to them? Are there cults of Techpriests who secretly worship the Necrons? etc. etc.

Well, I believe that before the return of Gulliman, any use of or research into alien tech would be considered blasphemy. After Gulliman came back, I want to say the regulations have eased a bit.

Every bit of fluff about admech and necrons has the boys in red trying to infiltrate and mine the necron base for shinies. Blasphemy or not, the cogboys are drawn to the Lambert green glow like sick mosquitos to a blowtorch.

Please excuse any spelling errors. I use a tablet frequently and software keyboards are a pain!

This. The AdMech are so thirsty for Necron tech they'll double-cross amd betray everyone they can to get it.

I have no clue how Dakka's moderation work. I expect it involves throwing a lot of d100 and looking at many random tables.

FudgeDumper - It could be that you are just so uncomfortable with the idea of your chapters primarch having his way with a docile tyranid spore cyst, that you must deny they have any feelings at all.

Admech's stance on Necron is just like the Inquisition's stance on aliens, mutants and heretics. While the majority see the Necron soullessness as an affront, many will still want to study and make use of Necron technology (for many purposes including killing Necron better).

Bit like Blood Ravens in another chapters reliquary. Yoink! Thanks for all the shinies...

Please note, for those of you who play Chaos Daemons as a faction the term "Daemon" is potentially offensive. Instead, please play codex "Chaos: Mortally Challenged". Thank you.

While this piece is meant to be satirical, perhaps some of the tech priests end up drinking their own kool aid:
Necrons are incapable of building structures or creating cultural works of their own, instead, coveting the works of antiquity. Necrons are known to be drawn to ancient ruins which they believe themselves to be the true inheritors of, such as the structures on Damnos and Sanctuary 101. This is a preposterous notion, and everybody knows that such ruins were obviously created by ingenious pre-Age of Darkness human colonists, as no xenos works could possibly persist for so long.

My headcanon is that the Voi- "Dragon of Mars" taints the noosphere, making explorators subconsciously inclined to tamper with Necron tech.

Every novel I've read with Adeptus Mechanicus finding Necrons has led to them killing anyone who would try and stop them from finding every secret there. The notable exception would be the AdMech on Damnos, but only because after a mining outfit awakened the tomb accidentally they were too busy running and screaming to put any thought to serious study.

I expect their official position is they are Xenos, they must be destroyed and studying their technology is at best suspect, at worst Tech Heresy. In practice however, their greed and drive to accrue knowledge and tech is strong enough that they have at times been tolerant of or downright open to Necrons and their Tech.
