Mission: 2 Objectives end of game.

A few pregame thoughts: This is probably the meanest list I've ever run. I've held off bringing it to the table, because I didn't think most lists would stand up to it. However, I was thinking I might have trouble facing armor, and when my opponent brought this list out, I was eager to test mine against it. Because it was spur of the moment I didn't have my Basalisk or Hector Rex, so I played about 220 pts under.

Turn 1:

Baby Knights: He dropped 2/3 of the Dreadknights. He shot an infantry squad to death with the rest of his shots going into the culexus. He then charged the culexus with a baby knight. His big Knight stayed on his backfield objective.
BS + Guard: I dropped everything. Buffed up the Crusaders to a 2++. My shooting wasn't much, but then I charged every enemy unit on the table. Crusaders tied up Baby Knight with stubbers, and Dreadknight, and were joined on the Dreadknight by Celestine, Culexus, and Mephiston (got it down to 1, but failed to kill it.). I charged in Captain Hammer to the Errant, using a CP reroll to deny overwatch (angel's wings). He was joined by Lemartes and DC. They killed the knight, but thanks to an interrupt Lemartes died. I charged the Eversor and one unit of scouts into a Dreadknight, and the other unit of scouts charged the Ironclad.


Turn 2:

Baby Knights: He dropped the final Dreadknight. Psychics killed some scouts. The new Dreadknight shot some DC to death, then failed it's charge. Celestine, and Mephy finished off the Dreadknight they were fighting.
BS + Guard: Captain Hammer + remaining DC headed over to kill the Dreadknight fighting the eversor but couldn't finish it. Mephiston, and Celestine charged the Dreadknight who had just arrived, and killed it. My whole backfield charged in to the baby knight that had been fighting the culexus and killed it.


Turn 3:

Baby Knights: With only about a dozen wounds left on the table all of it tied up in close combat, my opponent concedes.

Final Thoughts:
- T7 and a lack of stomp really limits the baby knights. They are fast, but easy to tarpit.
- Knights need screens against BA
- My list did fine against armor.
- Mephiston and Celestine are kinda a fun team.
- It wasn't a very even matchup.

What stratagem allow's you to take a relic from another codex? You can only have relic's of baal if you have a BA warlord. Nowhere does it say you can take other codex's relic's.

Yeah you can only have relics from one codex. Kinda cheated him a bit here.

Armory of Baal:
"Use this Stratagem before the battle. Your army can have one extra Relic of Baal for 1 CP, or two extra Relics of Baal for 3 CPs. All of the Relics of Baal that you include must be different and be given to different BLOOD ANGELS CHARACTERS. You can only use this Stratagem once."

You are right. Because my Warlord is not Blood Angels, I can take 0 Relic's of Baal. However, I spent a command point to take 1 extra. 1 More than 0 is 1.

It was addressed in the death guard FAQ (They were the 1st codex with a strategem that let you pay CP for Relics):
