I'm from Germany, North Rhine-Westfalia.
My descent into the 40k hobby began in summer 2011 when my then-girlfriend introduced me to the 40k Roleplaying Game 'Dark Heresy'. After that I read novel after novel and in spring 2012 decided to get myself some miniatures beginning with Chaos Space Marines. Though I liked these a lot I felt the lure of the Hive Mind soon. With the new edition of Space Hulk and later on the Deathstorm starter game my fate was sealed giving in to the Tyranids (and by accident the Blood Angels ).
After the Genestealer Cult release I also added a cultist army to the ever-growing Tyranids vs. Blood Angels face-off on my shelves.

There are more miniatures which I just bought for the looks or style or in order to improve my painting skills. Recently a copy of Warhammer Underworlds: Shadespire for example which I actually play by now.

Honestly speaking I've never played a 40k match so far although I've got the codices and rule books. I just love to collect, build, kit-bash and paint the miniatures and show them off afterwards.
I hope to get some comments, tips and feedback on my work. That's why I'm here for!
