Meh, what's so special about this latest remake of the Six Million Dollar Man? I saw a trailer earlier today and wasn't impressed.

"You listen to me. While I will admit to a certain cynicism, the fact is that I am a naysayer and hatchetman in the fight against violence. I pride myself in taking a punch and I'll gladly take another because I choose to live my life in the company of Gandhi and King. My concerns are global. I reject absolutely revenge, aggression, and retaliation. The foundation of such a method... is love. I love you Sheriff Truman." - Twin Peaks

Was the fight scene supposed to be that funny? Because it looked real goofy.

I'd say it's more like Gamer.

Looks fun.. but is it a remake? it doesn't remind me of the old show at all, like in any way.

It's a bad sign when a trailer strains your suspension of disbelief, and for me that happened the moment Grey pushed himself off the floor with hammer fists. I mean, I get the super-human reflexes and additional skills, those make a bit of sense. The super strength...not so much.

Actually, given who directed the movie, I'm guessing that whenever STEM takes control it's forcing Grey's body to the absolute limit of performance; something like an adrenaline switch. The twist will be that STEM is slowly destroying Grey's body as it either has to do this too often, or can't effectively manage all of Grey's autonomic functions; possibly a bit of both. Also, since this is one of the guys that created Saw, I expect that Grey will be unable reclaim control once he has ceded it to STEM.

Life does not cease to be funny when people die any more than it ceases to be serious when people laugh.

I'll check this out, but less because the trailer looks awesome, because it just looks OK.... but more because I think this is the closest to the Deathlok movie we're gonna get.

Il watch it.

These are my opinions. This is how I feel. Others may feel differently. This needs to be stated for some reason.

Looks pretty good!

And the 'shocking twist' is probably pretty obvious - he can be completely taken over by STEM, so...maybe he gets completely taken over by STEM?

Or it's secretly an AI that's controlling him, not a human, and he has to watch as it eventually makes him do some horrible things beyond what's seen in the trailer.

Well yeah, I thought STEM was an AI?

So sure, that could be it!

Well, I wasn't as much sure if it was a full "I am an intelligent being" AI, or more like the new Spiderman suit, where it's just super interactive, but still not really fully aware.
