This list is intended as a "Learning 8th edition" List for a game between myself, a friend with Orks, and possibly another with a Khorne army. This is my first list for 8th. Please shower me with advice and judgements of my character.

-Possessed and CL in terminator armor ride up in rhino #1. Probably buffed by warptime to get there quickest. This is my distraction unit. Hopefully they'll kill lots of boyz quickly and become the prime target.
-Plasma squads get dropped off in their 24" range by the other rhino.
-Havocs sit in the back and pop trukks and kanz.
-Jump sorcerer sits with plasma squads helping them not blow themselves up. Hopefully he'll be in a position where he can go where he's needed. Hence the jumppack.

Thoghts? Critiques? Jabs at my self esteem? What you got?

Noise marines instead of possessed? 3 assault bolter shots plus a sonic blaster and they fire again if they die. Plus they can fire twice via strategem per shooting phase.

Also having a warlord with cold and bitter with a lot of slaaneshi cultists is super viable. Get rid of the tac squads, load up two min cultist squads and one with as close to 40 as you can get.

If you have no other deep strike units and you want to take fleshmetal exoskeleton just take a reg chaos Lord cuz it will give him term stats anyway. Then you can use those points to add more cultists too.

40 / 80 shots, rerolling ones, with veterans of the long war and prescience, ignoring cover, that can be fired twice will hurt a lot of orcs. And as long as they are not killed to a man and you have two cp you can teleport a wounded squad back at full strength.

I am currently converting about 50 IG into more cultists at the moment. They seem to be the only way to go for troops.

I guess I should also consider more cult marines in my games. Iron Warriors are undivided after all. Supposed it's time I bought a squad for gaks and giggles. Maybe some plague marines too since GW is pushing them so hard these days.

I did realize this during deployment and have no idea what led me to believe that he could ride. Into the teleportation chamber he went. Honestly a warlord with 2x lightning claws with the extra attacks and durability is nothing to sneeze at. He was scary af to a bunch of orkz in t-shirts.
