First, welcome to Dakka.
The “no bits from other sets” is going to make it rough unless you are good at scratchbuilding.
I used the GL bits from the plastic 30k terminator kits. The Tarteros ones, but the Capheracti ones should be the same. Cut the launcher bits off, trimmed the underside of the bolter a little, and glued it on.
Now you could probably get the same effect with some plastic tube and greenstuff. I’ve also heard of people cutting down spare missiles for the same multi-tierd tube effect.

I know, I just don't have a lot of spare parts, or money to buy units I don't intend to use...

You can ask around the FLGS to see if anyone has any spares.
Just a little trim and glueing a cylinder/tube under there should get the point across. If you have any spare purity seals from other kits, they hide a lot of conversion sins. Just slap one on the side of the gun to hide the join.

Sprue often have little round spacer bits on them. If you find ones the right size trim them carefully off the sprue and shape the back end a bit and you might find a decent GL from there.
Or what about plastic ear buds? Cheap, plentiful and cylindrical.

Please excuse any spelling errors. I use a tablet frequently and software keyboards are a pain!

Wulfen autofrag launchers have a similar effect. If you know a space wolves player they are likely to have some of these spare. Takes a bit more chopping away at the gun but looks pretty good.

Styrene/plasticard. Use strip or half round to bulk up the underbarrel area, then add tube for the launcher barrel.

Expanding on the polystyrene theme you can find cylinders of two sizes (one large then the other) and just cut them down to size and use the smaller diameter as the ends.
