I was rather taken by how powerful custodians were when I first played them. Does anybody have any suggestions on how to beat them with Eldar?
I was thinking of something of the following.
Yncarne
3 units of Guardians,
3 units of Wraith Guards,
1 unit of Wraith Blades. w swords.
Wraith Lord (star cannons?)
2 Wave Serpents w shuriken cannons
Warlocks/Warlock skyrunners
Wind Riders
Thoughts?

1: Wrong forum.
2: Need a better insight. What list does he run? What tactics?

He runs the custodian jet bikes and the dreadnaught generally.

D-scythes do fine againgst them if you can actually bring them to bear. Hemlocks aren't bad. Doom is pretty useful.
Also, get this, howling banshee's are the best unit you have to assault them with.

Thoughts?
Take 3 units if Reapers and 2 Hemlocks, watch him crying blood, laugh maniacally and go away.
Of course he will never play with you again but does it matter?

Mortal Wounds, the more sources of them the better. Aside from the obvious smite, your wave serpents should dump their shields pretty early, and then use the stratagem to have another discharge each turn.
Kill the jetbikes early and kite the rest of his force, screen with your Guardians backed up by the Wraithguard. Unless he rolls some outrageous invuln saves in turn 1/2 you should have no trouble.

If he runs big units of jet bikes, use 3 fire prisms with linked fire and jinx to delete it.

wave serpents.
Wave serpents beat the gak out of custodes. They're extremely difficult for custodes to kill, can't be locked in, and shoot after they retreat. and you can take infinite numbers of them.
Support that with psychic and he'll be mostly helpless against you. He won't have any fun though.

I fought Custodes a month or so back with my Eldar and managed to beat them. Have a look at my Batrep for some ideas of what you might face on the table.
