Hello, I'm getting back to my project with Tau, and I'm about to go for a tournament with them next month. Tourney is not very competitive, it's mostly story-based (and I wrote my own story too), but what I'm looking forward is something other than bottom-place of the tourney. Strategy is; deploy force into two castles, pulse drone and fireblade in the middle of pathfinders and strike teams. Broadside and sacea ethereal provide support from backfield (possibly elevated) positions. Stealth Teams create distraction, about where battlesuits are going to drop. Piranha goes for objectives. Gun Drones and sniper teams provide area denial against enemy deep strikes. Aun'Shi acts as a counter-melee unit. This combo gives a good amount of command points (woohoo 14) and markerlights.
