Lately I've been playing against a Primaris Smurf player and his leader auras have been getting under my skin.
That is why I chose Nemesor.
Do I need more scarabs in another swarm? Drop my Spyders count to 2?

You really do not have enough troops to justify the Cryptek. If you are trying to VoD Nemesor, two characters alone on that side of the table are going to get annihilated unless you run the scarabs over far enough by Turn 2, when you can use the VoD under new FAQ rules.

I'm skeptical you'd get the mileage out of the HQ combo that you might be envisioning. Not seeing enough killing power in the list.

Also, Spyders are not effective offense, and there aren't enough Scarabs to justify more than two, if any. Scarabs are meant to be chaff, not something you sinking abilities into.

I noticed the stratagem that lets me sacrifice a swarm to deal some cheap mortal wounds and then regen them.

If I sacrifice a spyder and invest in a couple more immortals, would that work?

And possibly change the cryptek's gear to be able to help the Spyders catch up to the swarms rushing forward.

Drop 2 of the spyders. Add some anti tank like some destoyers or something

If you use the suicide scarab, you'd need them to be right by the adversary. To rejuvenate said swarm, you'd need to be right by the adversary too for all practical purposes. Dangerous for the spyder.

If you take Dynas's suggestion - I'd replace the 2x Spyders with a Ghost Ark for a survivable multi-threat platform. You're already Sautekh so it could move and fire its gun in secondary mode without issue.
