50 euro for that, plus shippinng, price does look discounted too much until I recognise the size.
Norba have a good record for miniatures quality.

It's a neat piece, but does the company make rules for it as well? If not, what would it "count as"?

9th Age has the Grudge Buster, which is based on a speciality piece listed in the full hardback edition of WHFB 8th as an example of a custom unit.

Zeppellins are canon tech for dawi.

If you wanted otherwise it could counts as a suitable dogs of war unit, the whole lot could easily have the damage output and mobility of a dragon or manticore. Earlier editions didnt need even that as they had a monsters section.

on the forum. Obviously

Not made of pewter. Not interested

On a more serious note, it is pretty nice.
What to use it for though? Were there rules for Dwarven Zeppelins in WHFB?

As stated 9th Age has them for Dwarven Holds army. WHFB did have them in cannon and there were stats for one in the large hard 8th BRB.

Essentially no, there were no rules. The best option you could go for is create rules/points for a flying Steam Tank piloted by Dwarves. Or maybe a DOW Dragon "counts as" model.

Or play T9A, which will never be an option for me.

We'll find out soon enough eh.

Eeeeeehhhhh, kinda. They used them during the War of Vengeance, but that tech was long lost by the time Sigmar rolled up and founded the Empire. Only the Spirit of Grungni, Mad Makaisson's prototype "black water" engine airship existed in "modern" times IIRC, and that was significantly bigger than this model.

It's a nice model, but "canon" is a bit of a stretch.

I need to acquire plastic Skavenslaves, can you help?
I have a blog now, evidently. Featuring the Alternative Mordheim Model Megalist.

"Your society's broken, so who should we blame? Should we blame the rich, powerful people who caused it? No, lets blame the people with no power and no money and those immigrants who don't even have the vote. Yea, it must be their fething fault." - Iain M Banks

"The language of modern British politics is meant to sound benign. But words do not mean what they seem to mean. 'Reform' actually means 'cut' or 'end'. 'Flexibility' really means 'exploit'. 'Prudence' really means 'don't invest'. And 'efficient'? That means whatever you want it to mean, usually 'cut'. All really mean 'keep wages low for the masses, taxes low for the rich, profits high for the corporations, and accept the decline in public services and amenities this will cause'." - Robin McAlpine from Common Weal

Flip your 8th edition rulebook to page 425.

So it is very much canon (if rare, but there were supposed to be just 8 steam tanks in the whole of the Empire so that's hardly a limit).

Most stretch goals were unlocked, most notably the dwarf slayer hanging on and the flamethrower respec. The latter will make it fit i more as a 'counts as' allied dragon for 6th.

9th Age 1.0 - 1.1 rules (the ones backwardly compatible with WHFB)

Grudge Buster   165 pts   single model

Profile
Grudge Buster  M1 S5  T5  W5  I2   Chariot
Crew (2)   WS4 BS3  S4  T4 I2  A2  Ld9

Weapons:  Swivel Gun (Grudge Buster only):   Shooting Weapon. Range 24”, Strength 4, Armour Piercing (1), Multiple Shots (4), Quick to Fire.
Armour 3+
Special Rules:   Fly(8), Impact Hits (+1), Grinding Attacks (3D3) (Grudge Buster only)

I am not sure I need it for my dwarfs, but I want one anyway for fun. I can try and rationalise it as an RPG miniature.

Here's MOM's version (much bigger than Norba's), meaning it's pretty much useless in gaming terms, but a very nice model nevertheless.

Very similar model, right through to the twin linked gear gun at the front. For all the ways to build a zeppelin the Norba kit is just a scaled down version. It better fits the Grudge Buster though, while the MOM kit is a Thunderbarge.

That being said it looks like two zeppelins joined together, with the cloth to hide the custom join. If so the two models are very similar indeed.

Were Norba giving MOM the finger by designing the kit as they did. Do these companies have a 'history'?

Also what happpened to that monster , it is not on the MOM site.

More like Norba and everyone else. The guy seems quite the character.
