Covered in the Chapter Approved FAQ.
Q: Can I use the Martyrdom Stratagem when any model from the Celestine unit is slain?
A: No. Only when the entire unit has been destroyed.

Wierd for them to even formulate it as that Oo.
The stratagem says to remove the unit from the board before rolling (and resolving) the act of faith.

You would remove the remaining Gemini and then be unable to use the act of faith on Celestine cause the entire unit is gone.

Note that you can use an Act of Faith to restore Celestine, including Martyrdom after some other Sisters of Battle character getting killed.

I think that's the intent behind the "remove the unit" rule, to prevent you from somehow resurrecting the unit that is being Martyred.

Removing the unit first also prevents you from using the Act of Faith on the dying unit and from benefiting from the abilities of the dying unit when you utilize the Act of Faith.
