Subject: MegaMetroCity, a beat 'em up boardgame, Kickstarter on April 24th
MegaMetroCity is an old School Beat´em up Board Game. It is co-operative, for 1 to up to 4 players, and games tipically last between 45 and 90 minutes.
We will launch our Kickstarter campaign next week, on tuesday 24th at 15:00 EST. And we are counting on your support!
There will be a first 24 hours early bird where you will be able to get the core box for 84$ dollars and all the Stretch Goals that get unlocked.
MegaMetroCity is one of the largest cities on the planet, with poor slum areas left forsaken. Years after being forced to leave the city, Jack and Travis, the McClane brothers, are back in their childhood district. Only to find it ruled by a gang called the Bloody Chains. Now with the help of their old friends they will make those scoundrels bite the dust.
The core box will include 54 miniatures, 148 cards, 12 reversible modular tiles, 119 tokens, 10 ten-sided dice and more.
You might want to tweak some of the art assets before printing; they're dangerously close to recognizable IPs. For example, the red tractor-trailer on one of the street cards is obviously cribbed from a Masterpiece Optimus Prime toy and could be altered to resemble a real-world Freightliner cab-over-engine that inspired the toy in the first place.
I know it's part of the 80's nostalgia aesthetic, but there's legal landmines to beware.

Thanks for sharing it, OrlandotheTechnicoloured. There will be another video featuring the game tomorrow, so stay tuned, everybody!

Nothing at all, but thanks for asking!

Thanks for the advince, DarkSoldier. We take these matters seriously and we're looking into it to make it so there's no problem.

On this post you have the link where you can download MegaMetroCity’s beta rulebook. The design and layout will be totally different, as the text has yet to go through our great graphic dessigner. We are currently working on that, and we expect to be showing some sample page during the campaing. On the final version, the text may also be modified and some surprise may be added to it. But regardless, the whole ruleset is already here, check it out!
First things first: thak you so much for your support so far. The response of the community is being overwhelmingly positive. And we know that we are able to do it because you're all here with us.
As you may see in the campaign description, we have revealed the first two social stretch goals. If you want a new weapon and some cool tunes to listen to while using it, smash the like button on our Facebook page and on BoardGameGeek.
I've backed this, the minis look like a super useful set of martial artists and brawlers. The game doesn't look particularly deep or tactical, but to be fair neither were it's inspirations. Will be fun enough with four like minded friends.
Also nice to see a smaller passion project KS succeeding simultaneous to two heavyweight campaigns (Cmon and Mantic) - truly a heroic fight against the odds!

Thanks, rosafari, we are giving it our all!
And it's true that MegaMetroCity might not be as incredibly tactical as other games, but don't underestimate it, those thugs are actually pretty hard to beat.
