I purchased some vehicle icons that were produced by Shapeways (3d printing service).

These icons are flat and I want to put one on an Imperial Knight shoulder pad which is curved.

How can I safely bend this printed plastic to fit without breaking or deforming it?

Try dipping it in hot water to make it pliable; basically the same process used to fix resin warpage.
While I'm not sure of the exact plastic shapeways uses, a quick search suggests it'll hold up to heat:

Boiling water tends to soften most plastics.

I'd try that first.

I'm OVER 50 (and so far over everyone's BS, too).
Old enough to know better, young enough to not give a ****.

That is not dead which can eternal lie ...
