I'm looking to add some more acolytes to my skaven but can't see paying 10 dollars each.
I'm looking for anything that would make a good substitute, even from other races or games.
Im not very good with conversions but would be open to trying if anyone has a suggestion.

Gas mask heads show up in the plagueclaw/wlc kit. Two or three of them, don't remember.

As for models... I've yet to see any that don't require a good amount of conversion.

I ended up using these guys. It's space themed rats though. But using the knives and pistol options might work for your overall look. Skryre are a bit more advanced tech than other races so maybe they would have pistols, who knows.

I've made 10 of them using Stormvermin bodies, Ork Boy arms holding Globes (made of greenstuff), and Gasmask heads from the Doomwheel and Lightning Cannon kits.

Plague monk bodies with Doomwheel/Warp Lightning gas masks are perfect. Then snip off one of the daggers at the hilt and throw on a little GS ball to make a stick grenade.
