As the title suggests, but specifically in regards to getting things shipped to the US:
has anyone gotten anything/had an anecdotal experience with MoM Miniatures? There stuff looks....stunning, frankly, but having never heard of them, I started wondering *why* I had never heard of them.
I've never seen their equal for puffy-shirted swordspeople, and the rest of their line is impressively characterful. I just don't know if the service is good and reliable.
Thoughts?

Huh, just looked them up after seeing this post. They don't seem to be a bad company, they just seem to be like the hundreds of other small mini companies out there that just don't have a lot of exposure.
If your feeling daring, go ahead and order a few models from them. If they take PayPal than you will at least have the protection PayPal offers. I just ordered a model from a company I have never heard of that is located in Italy, but since they take PayPal I was willing to take a risk and try them out.

Cheap with some rather good models. Resin casting is cheap with air bubbles, but you get what you pay for. Reliable for all I've ever heard and seen of their customers.
You don't need to be afraid to order from them. Put in a smaller order first if you're considering a larger order, in case you want to test reliability.
As to why you have never heard of them, there are dozens and dozens of small miniature companies. How many of those listed here have you heard of before?

Heard only good things about their fantasy line, primarily the dwarfs (both flavors). Couldn't say from a US perspective how shipping and handling is, I think the people I've seen posts from are mostly in the UK.

Thanks for all the replies, folks, I think that I'll scratch my poofy-sleeved-swordsperson itch.

I agree with the part about some poor casting, but if they are well cast, then they look great, i would buy from them again if i were looking into expanding my drawf army.
