Some WIP from me: making some America marines, mostly as a tribute to my time with the army. I am working on some decals now to include more units.

I know the painting isnt top tier, I am just getting back into it now. Every unit I paint I try to add a new technique, or keep practicing some basics again.

Any advice/input is welcome.

Looking good, but that first photo is too dark to see very well. Try to get some brighter light on it or increase the exposure on the camera.

They look great, the camo is good maybe check out the Imperial Guard for different styles (I like the cookie dough camo)

I really couldn’t care for top tier or whatever it even means, just what exactly is it?

You paint how you want to, me I will always be stuck in 2nd ed comic brightness

Cheers

Thanks for the kind words. My scouts are actually starting to look like cadians. I will definitely look into more camo styles for Dreadnought #4.

Is the lighting in this new picture better?

Newest addition to the Dreadnought family.

As much as I love our Secretary of offense ... uh I mean secretary of defense, i was in the army he is a marine .... So I met just have to stick with a historic us army general. But you just gave me a great idea for my guard detachment.

There will be more!

Very cool I like the camp on the dreads, where did you get the American flag decal?

Thank you! The flags and unit insignia on the primaris are from a ww2 1:35 kit from verlinden. The company doesnt exist anymore and I haven't found anyone who still has them in stock. Now I am experimenting with making my own decals. Once I make progress on I will post updates here.

I found plenty how to videos on YouTube and my local gaming store actually carries the supplies. Once I have used them I will also post some feedback about them. I have finals coming up so progress will be slow the next few weeks.
