OK, so I am wanting feedback on which list the community thinks is stronger. The 1st list utilizes lots of scourges but with the FAQ to reserves I am wondering if waiting for turn 2 to drop will hurt the list too much. Both list utilize Red Grief reavers to try and tie stuff up turn one and a blog of cursed blade Hellions for fly by strat and horde clearance. The second list has more CP (especially with the FAQ) and lost of wyches to further tie things up in combat with nets. So, which is stronger?

If you are using reavers as first turn charge I personally wouldn't bother with blasters. You are likely to get 1 shot off in the game, realistically. Points can be spent elsewhere better.
I dont see the appeal of the venom over the raider. Having another dis cannon and more wounds for 5 points just seems better.
Either lisf will work fine. Depends which way you prefer to go. Hellions are fragile but with so many other threats should hopefully be ok

I'll second the note above about Raiders vs. Venoms.

With just the idea of choosing between the lists, I'd say List 2 looks overall more competitive than List 1.

Succubus with traitor's embrace would do well with Shardnet and Impaler. 55 pts to tie up a warlord and either kill him with D2 or weaken him until he kills you and traitor's embrace gets the last laugh. Shardnet and Impaler helps keep him there more reliably

So 55 points for a model literally with the concept of dying to inflict d6 mortal wounds?
Why not just pay 55 points for a Succubus with a Glaive and chop stuff? You'll still do okay vs. characters who you plan to kill you, and in the meantime have more options.

So in terms of the raiders over venoms, are you saying the single venom in Red Grief detachment or all the venoms in the list? I like the idea of the flayed skull venoms for the re-roll 1s but I can see your point about the cult venom for a raider.

As for the suicide succubus, I have been struggling with that one myself but I rather prefer the Hyper-swift Reflexes from Red Grief. A 3+ invul is really nice on her. I also feel a little strange paying 55 points for a unit I want to die haha.

I am leaning list 2 as well, especially post FAQ. Those extra command points for the two battalions is really nice. Do people think I am making a mistake not taking a Black Heart detachment to get access to Agents of Vect? What are peoples thoughts?

IMHO the Agents of Vect stratagem is very nice but not mandatory. I mostly select the Black Heart obsession for the Labyrinthine Cunning trait and the 6+ ignore wounds to the vehicles since I usually field lots of them.

I agree with the Agents of Vect thing. The obsession bonuses for the other kabals in my opinion are just too much better to pass up. Oh well, I am playing Drukhari in my next league in a few weeks so I'll see if the absence of a Black Heart detachment burns me.

I pretty much only take Flayed Skull, I think it's objectively the best. That said, I will agree that "the best" can become more and more subjective depending on what your list actually is.
