Here's mine:

1. MkVI "Corvus"
2. MkVII "Aquila"
3. MkX "Tacticus"

So despite my love for old school marines, I actually really like the design of the Primaris armour.

Of course none of these are as cool as Indomitus Pattern Terminator armour, but that doesn't count for this thread

Where ever the Emperor needs his eyes

1. Mk V
2. Mk X
3. Mk IV

Mk III was close in the running.

Space Marine Terminator Armor just because

1. Tartaros
2. Cataphractii
3. Indomitus

Tartaros and Cataphractii are interchangeable, but Indomitus will always be at the bottom of the 3, but above all the RT Marks.

Vigo. Spain.

1º- Mk VI Corvus
2º- MK II Crusade Armour with Ciclopean helmet.
3º- Achean Patern MKIV armour.

But to be honest on top of those three is Sisters of Battle Power Armour with Sabbat helmet and Ignatus Pattern power armour.

Dakka does have White Knights and is also rather infamous for it's Black Knights. A new edition brings out the passionate and not all of them are good at expressing themselves in written form. There have been plenty of hysterical responses from both sides so far. So we descend into pointless bickering with neither side listening to each other. So posting here becomes more masturbation than conversation.

Honourable mention to Mk II.

Am I one of the few who doesn't like Corvus armor? I think the beakie helmets look worse than the normal ones, and I don't like the helmets at all in the first place.

In terms of armor bodies, they also all look the same to me, except for the Deathwatch ones, which have the high collar. The only difference I can see otherwise is the lumpy pauldron and greave, which I'm not a huge fan of either.

Personally, I prefer
Deathwatch
Grey Knights
Space Wolves

for their armor, but mostly because of the trinkets and decoration.

Guardsmen, hear me! Cadia may lie in ruin, but her proud people do not! For each brother and sister who gave their lives to Him as martyrs, we will reap a vengeance fiftyfold! Cadia may be no more, but will never be forgotten; our foes shall tremble in fear at the name, for their doom shall come from the barrels of Cadian guns, fired by Cadian hands! Forward, for vengeance and retribution, in His name and the names of our fallen comrades!

Mark V - Never given enough love. Ridiculous cables and studs everywhere. It’s heavy metal x Starship Troopers. Lovely stuff.

Mark VIII - but only the original metal Jes Goodwin sculpt - Deathwatch ones are clunky and awful and didn’t live up to the original for me, and the Tactical Squad torso barely qualifies.

Mark VI - modern plastic iteration. It’s so solid and so retro at the same time. All thumbs up.

IV: I personally for some reason don't like the look of the stereotypical space marine helmet? I suppose I'm a hipster because I find it "too main stream" The MK IV helmet is freaking great
III: See, I love the MK III armour, totally no bias because I play Death Guard or anything haha. The only problem I have with it, is the backpack looks a bit goofy, I'm considering swapping them out for Mk IV backpacks which are better by far.
VI: I do love me some Cheaky Beakies.

I like the Mk II Crusade armour for its more plated design, the beaky armour and the Mk V Heresy armour as the studs look cool and I like the hats.

I think that's everyone's hope with the next Heresy game.

I would rather MK6 was not a big fan of MK5 it is by far my least favorite space marine armor.

My picks:

1. MkIII - a plain, simple armour that looks tough, and the helmets remind me of fantasy Knight helms. Also, rivets. RIVETS EVERYWHERE.

2. MkIV - The helmets are excellent, and not too much bonding studs that feel OTT on the MkV , but enough to help break up the "sameness" that a space marine army is.

3. MkVII - The originals I first ever collected, given a good face-lift a few years ago. The "angry scowl" helmets are iconic and the kit gives enough options to break up the sameness like the MkIV kit does.

Mk iv: building my ultramarines out of mkiv and the praetorian upgrades. The Praetorian helmet is just so good, even though mkiv is pretty good too.

Mkiii: armoured up mkii, the extra armour on the shoulder pad plus the helmet make the armour. The extra plates on the legs look quite good when highlighted well, and really stand out.

Mkviii: who knew adding a gorget would make mkvi so much better?

MkII armour looks great and I would love a plastic kit - that way my traitors could have MKIV and a few MKIII and the loyalists could have MKII and MKIII as the fluff indicates.
MkV armour is a brutal look and again I would love a good plastic set to use as the basis for chaos marines.
MkVIII armour with its deathwatch incarnation is a great special forces looking set.

Anyone like MkIX armour?
