Do you guys think its ok to run devourer gants as fleshborer gants in a tournament? I get that it wouldn't be ok if the models in your unit is all devourer gants, but you proxy some if the models in the unit as fleshborers and some with devourers in the same unit. But in this instance they're all proxied as fleshborers, if I just tell the opponent before each match.

I wouldn't mind as long as there are no devourers in the list. It could be confusing.

I've actually done this exact thing. Nobody should mind.

That's up for the specific tournament...There's tournaments that are "fine as long as no devourer gaunts in the army", some where "fine as long as all in unit are same and units are identifiable like by different coloured rims on bases" and "nope, can't do it".

Asking these on internet is pretty much waste of time as nobody can actually tell you the REAL answer unless by some chance the person in question is host of the tournament you plan to attend.

The opinion of the internet is irrelevant. Ask your TO. his answer is the only one that matters.
