Now that it has been fixed that a whole army can Reserve without auto-losing, I wanted to take a stab at my Night Lords again without the need of an anchor unit.

Konrad and the Jump Apothecary drop in with the Assault Squad. This gives Curze some ablative FNP wounds. The Terror Squads do what they do - drop in and CHOOM! The AA Apothecary and Praetor drop in with the smaller squad. The Cortus is there because I have the NL Dread and will be damned if I don't use it, but also that seems like a solid set-up. The Leviathan is filthy, so why not? Though I am debating embracing a more air theme with a Fire Raptor instead. Lightning is tank-killer. Xiphon is my anti-air unit. Simple enough strategy. Three Pods drop T1, Curze and the other Pods come in after, along with the aircraft.

Thoughts? Ideas?

Not bad but the apothecary can not take artificer armor and a jump pack it is one or the other. Also you dont really need drop pods for the two 10 man terror squads as they infiltrate already, plus takeing out the two drop pods increases the number comeing in turn one. and while not haveing any units on the board turn one is good its not that good it, also anyone expecting a list like this can make a hard counter useing augery arrays to shoot as you deploy out of drop pods or use a command rhino to mess with your deep striking.

It is two Apothecaries. One with Jump Pack. One with AA.

And taking Pods ups my overall Pod count. And Infiltrating them is riskier, imo. Exposes them to fire potentially before they can strike.

Damocles won't stop my first turn Pods arriving, so unless they castle that sucker up - I am going to pop it.

Augury Arrays are only an issue if I arrive inside their 18" bubble and only from Rapid Fire and Heavy Weapons. So, savvy placement and deployment will be important against any lists with them - though honestly, I don't recollect folks using them all that often.

Any other input before I start gluing?

Bumping one more time just to get some feedback. I relocated successfully and am getting my studio back up. My next project is my Night Lords themed to the Drop Site Massacre. So any input before I get building would be appreciated!
