I never noticed it until my friend pointed it out. But he was right. Orks seem to be modeled after sub Saharan African tribal culture. I could find some videos to illustrate the similarities but it’s undeniable. I think whoever created the Orks culture and Orky personality for the fluff pretty much ripped off Africans.

Seriously? They're stereotyped English football hooligans. One of their catchphrases "ere' we go" is a football chant. I think your friend might be looking for similarities that aren't there...

The Thatcher thing is, alas, something of an urban/internet myth according to Mr Chambers on Facebook.

But the orks originally being british thug based is more or less correct.
