Seriously an amazing match to watch. And I really think despite all the flaws it's a testament to the skill of the players and the game system itself that the final match had no TLT, no harpoons, no Miranda, just a few old ships and a lot of good play.

My only question is does this mean the winner will get to design a card for 2.0?

The list has been floating about (at least EU/UK) for a while, good to see it finally get a big result, I tried it a few times but gave up under the 'never fly lists cleverer than you' addage (AC / TLT is about my 'skill' level)

Proves the meta is doing just fine if anything.

If you'd frequent the FB threads I am a part of of, you'd think the world is coming to an end with, Nymranda, GhostFenn and NuQd or RhoQd being the only viable options...

Oh... nevermind.

GhostFenn is highly overrated. Last tourney I was at there was like 8-9 GhostFenn lists and not one made it to the top 8. Same with Nymranda to a lesser extent even though it's just one strong all around list.

Nu's and Rho's are easy to avoid or take off the table, though QD is a legit beastie.

But alas, if there was no drama there'd be no entertainment.
