The "Explodes" rule is more or less useless, because nothing explodes.
I feel like you should not be able to use the "Command reroll" stratagem on the"Explodes" roll when vehicles gets destroyed. Because in all of my games, rarely anything ever explodes (short of death guards, but they tend to self detonate more than not).
I am not trying to make a "fluff" nor a "realistically speaking.." argument. It simply is a rule that rarely gets used, due to that one stratagem everybody got access to.

This game needs more explosions!

1) Should be in Proposed Rules.

2) Having to use a (extremely precious) Command Point to change Explodes from a 1/6 to a 1/32 is a fair trade IMHO. Yes, explodes is meant to keep clumps of artillery honesty, but the fact they cause mortal wounds instead of normal wounds is enough of a balance to keep it possible to mitigate.

If Vehicles exploded on a 3+ instead but allowed saves against the resulting wounds, it would be fine I suppose.

Ayy, misclicked without noticing. It was meant to be in Proposed rules.

Even 5+ and I would be okay with the reroll. For it is too rare to see anything explode and hurt allies the way it is now.

Death guard have a stratagem, for 1 CP, the vehicle explodes without rolling dice. Several vehicles in the game explode on different rolls. Bloat drones explode on a +4.
