in particular ordinatus/titan size weapon. Trying to have something mechanical on there that the ad mechs or orks would use to raise the barel of a Giant gun. Armiger legs are too small and dont look right either

Orks would use grotz.
But I've seen people get good results with different sized plastic tubing or metal rods.

Evergreen Plastics. All the even numbered tubes slide inside/outside the numbers above/below. Same for the odds.
Example: a size 2 rod fits perfectly inside a size 4, which slides inside a 6. Size 3 slides inside a 5 which slides into a 7 etc...
Train shops are your best bet, eBay next, then direct from the supplier.
