I bought 2 older russes off a friend and the hole for the turret is much bigger than the current turret ring. Is there an adapter I can buy to put around these new turret rings so they fit? Thank you.

Make one out of plasticard. Should not be too hard.

Like SQRT said, the best tactic is to make them with plasticard. Find a way to get the diameter measured, and then go get cheap plasticard if you don't have some - a for sale sign is workable. Trace out the diameter on multiple layers, cut them out. Mark the diameter for the new turret mount, cut it out from the discs, stack them together with some glue and a couple of clamps, and then fit the adapter to the turret replacement.

I'm thinking I might just buy a piece of PVC pipe that's the right size and cut a small ring to attach to the bottom.

Or just put a flat bit of plasticard over the hole and cut off the turret ring clip bit. Stick the turret into place or put a magnet in the middle to magnetized if you want the turrets to be removable. Much easier than trying to cut a good circle

Please excuse any spelling errors. I use a tablet frequently and software keyboards are a pain!

Use a 25mm base glued or fixed to the bottom of the turret - even magnetised if you want to keep the turret as is.

I would just get some thin strips of plasticard (available a most hobby shops). Cut to the circumference of the turret hole and some liquid cement to secure it to the tank. Let dry and repeat until you have a hole the same size as the current version.

Cheers,

CB
