14 day project

Main Game ($80)

Expansion Box ($40, so $120 total)

We will ship your rewards at our cost to our international hubs. Depending on where in the world you are, we will either ship to you from our hub in the UK (EU backers), China (Asia Pacific backers), Singapore (Singaporean backers), Canada (Canadian backers), Australia (Australia and New Zealand backers) or Atlanta (USA and the rest of the world). Following is a list of rough estimates for shipping a standard game package (4kg volumetric weight). Keep in mind these are just estimates, and costs may rise based on weight increases from unlocked stretch goals and any optional buys you choose.
•USA: $10-$20 to most states. $50 to Alaska, Hawaii, and Puerto Rico.
•CANADA: $15-$30 to most cities.
•LATIN AMERICA: $70-$80 to most countries.
•ASIA: $10 to China, Hong Kong, and Singapore. $35 to most other countries (we can’t predict an estimate cost to Malaysia).
•OCEANIA: $20-$45 to Australia. $40 to New Zealand.
•AFRICA: $95 to most countries.
•EUROPE: $20-$30 to most countries.
• • $35 to Norway, Switzerland, Finland, Estonia, and Latvia.
• • $50 to Bosnia/Herzegowina, Croatia, and Iceland.
• • $70-$80 to Israel, Liechtenstein, and Serbia.
• • $90 to Belarus.

Unfortunately, different import laws and customs have made it impossible for CMON to ship games to certain specific countries.

*WE DO NOT SHIP TO:* Russia, Ukraine, Kazakhstan and Afghanistan.

KS exclusive hero, main box

KS exclusive pirate, expansion box

and the stretch goals

but in better news the plastic tokens I dont' want to get now comes with plastic tokens for the optional build a robot expansion too

It really looks like a reskinned Arcadia Quest. Wonder if they will do the same thing than with Zombicide.

But hey, it will fund anyway, I have no doubt about this.

...and winner!

A load of sci-fi chibi - booth heroes and villains - equals fun in my book!

CMON’s newest Kickstarter promises to be out of this world! Starcadia Quest is an all new stand-alone campaign game for 2 to 4 players. The dastardly Supreme Commander Thorne is looking to control the galaxy (at least a good portion of it) and each player leads a crew of two heroes flying through space on a quest to defeat him. While they share the same goal, the different crews are not exactly in league with one another. They will compete as much with each other, as they do with Thorne and his army.

Starcadia Quest takes place in a remote galaxy. A galaxy filled with aliens, lasers, treasure, and rugged heroes ready to take on anything. It’s coming to Kickstarter on August 28 at 3 PM EST, so prepare your star chart, begin the countdown, and set your phasers for fun!

That's a pretty significant difference, if you are playing 2 heroes instead of 3.

EDIT: Despite my staunch anti-Kickstarter stance, I'm all in on this one. Arcadia Quest is my kids' favorite game and we missed an epic ton of content by skipping the kickstarters in the past (which I'm still upset about). Kickstarter exclusives can suck it.

I've seen a couple of posts on facebook speculating that it's intended to speed up the game which is something they were looking to do

I'd back that for a dollar!

One of the few instances where I hope we see lots of interesting cameo heroes. Or at least with bits inspired by pop culture.

My own hope is for some late 80s Japanese power armor inspired heroes, like Saber Knights or Shirow landmates.

Poorly lit photos of my ever- growing collection of completely unrelated models!

As a native of Amaze-onia, Hannah Lone is very excited to be out in the galaxy, seeing new things, meeting new people, and shooting at anything that deserves it. She can’t even go to lunch without squeeing over every menu item, and being amazed at the tasty, cool, crisp ice water (which is apparently in every glass she drinks). Still, Hannah’s startled exclamations never interfere with her mission, even if they’re a bit distracting.

The Supreme Commander Thorne has a number of different minions at his disposal to carry out his nefarious plans. Today we meet the first, the Octocold.

I like the ideas but the execution seems 'rough' compared to previous Arcadia Quest stuff like Masamora

So Arcadia Quest in space, just with less heroes. Starcadia. Why not, but definitely not original.

Are those showed on the pictures above renders or actual miniatures ? They do look odd in comparison, indeed.

I'm hoping they're low res prints, but fear they may be traditional sculpts that could have done with more cleanup before they were finished

Those look pretty rough. I hope they're cleaned up a bit prior to actual launch.

Not to be blindly optimistic, but I wonder if they've purposely left them a little rough knowing they can be cleaned up post scanning so it's not worth a ton of time refining them? Of course if those are core game models they've probably been done for ages, so maybe that doesn't make sense.

posted by Andrew Fraser on facebook, looks like the 'final' stuff is ok, (so why show the roughs above when they've got something better in hand, idiots)

Hmm...

Is it the trend now to take your dungeon crawler franchise and make it a space ship/station crawler now? I know they just did an expansion to regular Arcadia quest this year, but this just seems... odd.

I guess I'll see what they got, but can't say I'm as excited as I'd be for a regular Arcadia Quest expansion. I suppose we can now look forward to 'Space Kingdom Death', 'Cyber-Myth', and 'Super Starship Explore'.

I stupidly didn't back the original or Inferno but read rave reviews from people playing with kids, so, I'm interested. But it'd have to be actually interesting, not badly done like most 7 Sins "parodies" for example.

The tiny eyeball critter are a nice start.

Looking for a Skaven Doomwheel banner to repair my Nurgle knights.

At Games Workshop, we believe that how you behave does matter. We believe this so strongly that we have written it down in the Games Workshop Book. There is a section in the book where we talk about the values we expect all staff to demonstrate in their working lives. These values are Lawyers, Guns and Money.

Always wanted to try this game, and now might be the time to jump in. My 4-year old will be 5 by the time it arrives and so maybe ready for some5hing a bit more complicated! Still a bit weirded out by them insisting to put huge knockers on every one of their child-like females though...

American chibi style.

Now the pictures from Gencon show how are really the miniatures. That's reassuring.

I'm still staying on my opinion of this game being just a reskin of the original Arcadia Quest. Will still sell, anyway.

Edge lives his life on the precipice, always ready for a new fight, a new gizmo, or a new upgrade for his amazing lazer-swords. They slice, they dice, they make bad guys into julienne fries! Edge has to be careful with them, of course. They’re made of light, so they weigh almost nothing, and they can be as dangerous to him as they are the bad guys. Fortunately, advanced optics in his visor (and a streamlined haircut) make accidents rare. ... Mostly rare. Usually. Ahem.

So Edgy. Background is always funny, but laser swords? If you look at the miniature, they're just normal swords that are only laser because they will certainly be colored on the picture/intended to paint a flashy one. If you want to go laser, at least use a different shape, like jedi weapons.

As professional choppers go, few are better than Digits. If it runs off a computer, Digits can chop it, whether that be a starship, an anty-matter reactor (which runs off real ants!), or just a stingy vending machine. Digits’ cyber implants give her brain multi-tasking capabilities, though she uses these a little too often for gaming on the job, She currently holds the galactic title of Grandmaster in the popular League of Worldcraft competitive online multiplayer crafting survival battle arena RPG with FPS and puzzle-solving elements.

The Weebles are essentially ‘larval’ Peeks. It might seem cruel to send one’s offspring into battle, but Peeks breed at an insane rate, and Weebles only earn the right to take up arms (as in literally grow arms and legs) in service to their elders. Combat stimulates their minds, which at the moment are capable of little more than ‘Om-nom-nom-nom-nom’. Despite their instinctive behavior and tendency to muck up shiny metal decks with their drool, Supreme Commander Thorne finds their overwhelming numbers to be quite useful.

Starkid takes after his fellow Frontiersfolk with his amblin’speech, amblin’ walk, and amblin’ gunplay. (Yes gunplay can amble. Just you watch!) He takes his time to size up a situation before acting, but when it’s time to act, he jumps to it like lightning. That’s how they do it out on the Frontiers. Going off half-cocked is a good way to get yourself ‘kilt’. Better to figure a problem from all sides, then hit it quick and git er’done.

The Peeks are a cyclopean race that consider themselves the most charismatic and brilliant species in the galaxy. Obviously, right? Just look at them! So when they discovered that the majority of galactic species were these bizarre, two-eyed beings with absolutely no ability to grow tentacles, well... they could see that Supreme Commander Thorne had a point about the galaxy being a place of disorder and chaos! The Peeks have readily taken up arms to aid Thorne, and their deadly accuracy makes them some of his most lethal shock troops in his Armada.

Hard-bitten and hard-biting, Colonel Blaze McGunner has fought in every major interstellar conflict since… well, forever! He’s a tactical and strategic genius, so long as the plan is “Shoot everything in our way with extreme prejudice”. The Colonel’s gunnery has been honed to a fine science, able to pinpoint weak points in enemy armor, and light his cigars from ricochets. If there’s one thing the Colonel enjoys more than putting light down-range, it’s reminiscing about old victories. At length. For hours and hours. Just ask him. (No, really don’t ask him).

Scuttlebutts are little more than cannon fodder for the Heroes of Starcadia Quest. What makes matters worse, is that they don't even want to be here. Supreme Commander Thorne enlisted them into his services against their will. None the less, they will stand in the way of the Heroes accomplishing their goals.
