Thinking of some new options for my Raven Guard, as I'm finding the list I'd been toying with just doesn't work very well. The idea with this one is to present no good targets for anti-armor weapons, and to present the opponent with a strong attack on one flank while simultaneously threatening him with a gunline. Scouts secure drop zones, Shrike, the 2 close combat VVs, and one of the Sternguard units use Strike from the Shadows to get in the enemy's face. The plasma pistol VV and the jump captain are held in reserve, hopefully to drop once a hole appears in the enemy lines. Devastators, Captain, Lieutenant, and Ancient with the relic banner form a gunline, with the other unit of Sternguard screening them, and the plasma tacticals deployed farther forward (or should I switch these two around? Thoughts?). I start the game with 10 CP, and have 6 remaining after using SftS. The idea is to use the Hellfire shells and Flakk strategems as much as possible (with the cherubs to maximize value) for some mortal wounds, and also to take advantage of the Sternguard strategem. Depending on my opponent, maybe spend one more CP to give the jump captain the Teeth of Terra. I tried to build some bullet catchers into each of the units, to make the inevitable losses hurt a little bit less. My biggest concern with this list is a lack of anti-tank shooting (though the plasma and power fist VVs make up for that somewhat), though from talking to people at my local shop hordes are more of a problem in my local meta than armor is. What do you all think? What changes would you recommend to this list? I don't expect to be playing in any tournaments, but my local scene is quite competitive and I'm very inexperienced.

This list looks super solid. I wish I had all these models. I have had lots of success with deepstriking plasma vets as well as a sternguard fire base. The only thing I would add in instead of the pwr fist vets is Agressors. I like to use a full squad of auto boltstorm gauntlets and SFTS them. I've decimated horde lists and also dented heavy armored lists with this units. I start them just outside the reach of the enemy but inside their shooting range and double tap the enemy. That's 100 shots on average just from the aggressors. Buff with shrike and Lt and wham! You can only save against so many wounds.
