Well what can I say. I have had this model for about 8 years now, and has been collecting dust. The Space Wolves omnibus was the first series I ever read, and let me tell you Ragnar was a beast. So I kept with the cover of the first omnibus and did the model after that. I did sand for the base, because he had a battle with orks, and it was very dirty so used that scene in the book for my setting. Hope you enjoy.

I to am a fan of the SW. I think you did a good job. It’s unfortunate that they haven’t updated the model in 15+ years

Pretty good work. I think the base detracts a lot from it though. The reddish ring is distracting and the piece of scrap metal doesn't add anything to the model. The paintwork on the actual figure is fine - the base just really lets it down in my opinion.

If you don't specifically ask for critique, it's often not forthcoming.

The paint is fine, adequate tabletop level.

To improve I'd say you could do with having more depth to the armour as it doesn't look like there's any shading in the recessed. Edge highlights are solid, but could be crisper and neater while the face and pelt also lack contrast, would benefit from greater shading and highlighting efforts.

Nice paint job on an old ugly model that doesn’t do the character justice. Only thing I’m not keen on paint wise is the red trim on the base and the stuff coming off the front of it. Draws the eye down to the base not the mini. The red on the sword is lovely.
