Hi all,
I've been looking at starting path to glory, and I'm wondering about getting clarification on a line in the rules (from the Legion of nagash book):

"your followers need to be organised into units. The follower table tells you how many models the unit has. Follower units cannot contain additional models, but they can otherwise take any options listed on their warscroll."

So if I choose 4 x10 skeleton warriors for my followers, by my reading of that paragraph, I can't combine them together. Which seems pretty awful considering, you know, they're skeletons.

Is that correct? Is there an faq somewhere that says you can combine units? Or is it a deliberate move to limit people from getting mob bonuses in path to glory?

Thanks in advance.

Run a whole lot of wfrp and other rpg's, play The Woods and Kill Team, gather and look mournfully at imperial guard knowing I'll never finish enough to use them on the tabletop

That is correct. You do not get to consolidate them in path to glory to form voltron - the mighty skeleton warrior with 3 attacks each, in path to glory.

Path to Glory is about smaller units.

Many thanks! Completely changing my battle plan then. Cheers!

We house rule it so that when adding new followers if you roll a duplicate you can choose to add a new unit or add to the size of the existing one. Note it's only when adding--the initial choices cannot be combined. Works really well, particularly for making follower rewards worthwhile.

But without house rules you indeed cannot summon skeletron

Road to Renown! It's like classic Path to Glory, but repaired, remastered, expanded! https://www.dakkadakka.com/dakkaforum/posts/list/778170.page

I chose an avatar I feel best represents the quality of my post history.

I try to view Warhammer as more of a toolbox with examples than fully complete games.
