Lots of sculpting went into creating this pair. I would say that Big Blue is my most ambitious conversion yet, and I'm very happy with how he came out. As poorly as the plastic Archon kit is posed, he's really a fantastic base for conversions.

"Nifty" is appropriate.

Blue was originally painted up in a scheme similar to Red, but without any major conversions (just a headswap and a repose, with a few added parts to facilitate that). It was once Red was converted and painted up and I had some spare parts left over from his conversion that I realized I could do more with Blue, and stripped and rebuilt him from the ground up. So in a way, they both ended up being prototypes for one-another. I'll find a way to build that into my army's fluff once everything's put together.
