So the new Stormcast managed to suck me in and I'm splitting on the box with a guy who plays death.

Anyway I'm a little curious where I should go next?
Also the stormcast Tome is on Last chance to buy, so I guess I don't have to pick that up.

I currently have no idea about any of their synergy since I don't have the tome

I'd hold off, as there will be a new stormcast battletome...i'd assume. Also those beast creatures shown in the reveal video, there are some things that we haven't seen unveiled in full yet. Hopefully most of everything is revealed by the time the two week pre order comes to a close.

There is a new Stormcast battletome coming, and a Nighthaunt one as well.

We don't know exactly when. Probably July for both the books and the other units.

get the box, split it and play whit what you have. the armys in these kind of boxes are generaly good starter armys.

in due time, the new battletome will come and then you can begin to plan your expansion.

Start with the app. It's free it has the profiles for all the individual units.

Get a feel for their abilities, then when the new book comes out you'll have it as a resource for new artifacts, battalions, etc.
