My FLGS got a bunch of star wars kits in and they've been tempting me from their shelves, I figured I'd get something cheap to try and damn did I ever have fun putting it together and painting it (even if I ruined the canopy with the varnish).

Just thought I'd share, C&C welcome

Oh, I certainly vote with my dollar, but the problem is that that is not enough. The problem with the 'vote with your dollar' response is that it doesn't take into account why we're not buying the product. I want to enjoy 40k enough to buy back in. It was my introduction to traditional games, and there was a time when I enjoyed it very much. I want to buy 40k, but Gamesworkshop is doing their very best to push me away, and simply not buying their product won't tell them that.

Very nice, is that the 1/48th? Love the weathering. The canopy obviously just misted up cause of the cold.

Ha, obviously
If I had have known that it'd turn out like that I'd have left some blu tac on the windows so the corners ended up frosted but the pilots have wiped their gloves over the middle to actually see out.

And yeah it's 1/48. Which actually makes it the odd one out of the Bandai line. I think the ATST is also 1/48, the ATAT is 1/144, the rest of the actual starfighters are 1/72.

You did a superb job on the weathering. It could be used in a movie!
