Sorry this is probably the wrong forum but it looked the best fit to me.

I’m a little perplexed with KR Multicases - they claim to have an easy system to use but I find the lack of dimension info on the majority of their pages to be quite irritating!

I want some storage for my armies which includes imperial knights. Now, KR have foam “IG23” that purports to hold a knight, yet from digging around it appears that it’s only 11cm tall. If a knight is 7” tall, how is that going to fit?!

Any ideas? Apologies if this seems stupid but it’s just not obvious to me where the relevant info is and there are no pictures on the web explaining the fit. Ffffff!

Thanks in advance.

Ah, is this supposed to be with carapace weapons removed ... perhaps that’s it.

Always the problem with KR.
The IG23 is listed as being "Full depth, half width".
The standard case is "400 x 270 x 120mm". That IG23 would be 200 x 270 x 120 mm, being more than 7" to the centre x
10" side-to-side x 4" deep.

The standard case is here (dimensions at the bottom):

Yeah, two IG23 fit in a standard case, and there's not much wiggle-room.

And KR just posted this on Facebook:

Imperial Knights on the March

With the recent release of the new Imperial Knight’s Codex, the KR Multicase team is happy to announce we have a line of trays for the existing Knight Models, and will be acquiring the Knight Dominus to produce a custom tray for it soon.

Whilst we work on producing a custom tray for the Knight Dominus variants, we can recommend the V1T pick&pluck tray from our core range: https://www.krmulticase.com/product/trays/V1T

For those of you fielding the classical Knight Errant and its variants, the custom tray IG23 https://www.krmulticase.com/product/trays/IG23 tray will suit you well if you have built him with his arms fixed and without a Carapace weapon, and the IG24 https://www.krmulticase.com/product/trays/IG24 will suit those of you have a Carapace weapon attached, and have chosen to magnetise or pin your Knight’s arms.

The Knight Armiger Warglaives and Helverins sit rather comfortably in the SM17+SM17 tray, with additional space in there for your other Knight’s alternate https://www.krmulticase.com/product/trays/SM17+SM17

For a comprehensive break down of trays we recommend for the Imperial Knights, visit the Imperial Knight Tray Guide Page on our website, found at https://www.krmulticase.com/trayguide/IK

KR is great stuff - but their website is...a running joke in the industry. It's that bad. Their eBay page is actually much better, more identifiable.

It's not better in person, I missed out on buying their cases at Salute because they couldn't give me clear answers to relatively simple questions

pros- affordable, easy storage, mix and match trays, soft foam, good use of space, large selection of pre cut foams for all GW models, solid customer service

cons- tight fit=no antennas/commanders etc., bad for anything that are spiky=not suitable for some chaos, definitely not suitable for drukhari; soft foam tray=bad storage for metal minis, especially if whole tray are full of metal minis, high probability of spilling, their website
