Any word anywhere on if the Chaos Dwarves will be still with us? Or if FW doesn't give us a prompt updating, will their warscrolls and points still be in effect? I am liking the idea of every command ability able to be used even if they're not the General. Or am I mistaken about that? It would let them take BullCentaurRenders as Troops if Shartor were in charge, but a Tauruk and Castellan could still do their things.

No word, which means to me you should be able to continue to use them as you've been. They were trash in v1 though and in 2.0 they wiill be worse without an update.

Seems like their shootiness is good though, and those Spite Shields can dish out mortal wounds in combat on saves of 6+. Guess they're super slow though. I do love those giant hats on the old guys though!

Very much hoping this is true. I don't see why FW would put out newer models for them to let them die on the vine...

They are actually listed on the front page of the website.

I was getting ready to order the K'Daai Fireborn as I figure they will possibly be a summon for free unit.

Waiting for GH 2018 thought to find out the changes.

I haven't checked out the k'daai fireborn. Summoning stuff would be pretty awesome especially if it was free. I really am more anxious to get this new GHB than many other books.

No, it's all on the 30th.

Kan is right. It's a two week pre-order, with a release on the 30th.

Unless you know someone or are one of the internet celebs who have had the stuff for a couple weeks now.

I know our store has the boxed set and malign portents.

Didn’t see GH yet.

So downloaded the update, but didn’t see LoA getting anything out of the ordinary...

And why are Hellcannons not included in the army?

I think they've had a nice little bump.
Draz getting a command ability. Actual traits and artefacts.

The mortar is still hot garbage unfortunately. IMO they should just make it a behemoth and crank it up several notches.

Kdaai I quite like now, but not having a summoning mechanic is a pain (but not surprising).

Hellcannons aren't FW models and have never been part of the LoA list AFAIK.

Hoping that we see a couple of new units/minis at some point now that FW has a dedicated AoS team.

I understand the hellcannon is not FW, but for the longest time it was the only hold over for chaos dwarves.

As stated, the mortar is not well and the cannon would fit.
