The guy hasn't been on in ages, is he ok? Has anyone checked on him? I don't think he's posted since what, March?

Either way, this probably isn't a thread that will survive long. I don't think the staff want to air dirty laundry like that.

What dirty laundry? He's been a mod for what, 10 years plus? And resigns and we don't give the guy a send off party or something? He often felt like the only mod online on many occasions. Something seems very off here.

I was wondering about that. I had assumed he had another child or something and tha he would be back, but if he's gone for good I am going to miss him.

Exactly this, the guy has been part of the community here on dakka since I could remember, and now hes disappeared without comment? Have we at least checked if hes ok?

To allay concerns, Alpharius is no longer a moderator on Dakka Dakka but he is doing fine IRL. He is certainly not banned from posting or anything along those lines and yes indeed his retirement as a moderator is the end of an era. Out of respect for him, I'll leave any further comment up to him should he wish to post about it at whatever point. I'll go ahead and lock this, thanks!
